Hard Launch | A Cheese Party with the Studd Siblings
- 6:30 pm - 12:00 am | Wednesday August 13, 2025
- The Lobby | Ace Hotel Sydney
- 47-53 Wentworth Ave
- Free
Join cheese columnists and educators Ellie and Sam Studd for HARD LAUNCH – a cheesy takeover of The Lobby at Ace Hotel Sydney, presented as part of Broadsheet’s Dine Out Festival. This one-night party celebrates the hardcover release of their book, The Best Things in Life Are Cheese.
There will be music all night, a cheese-themed live drag performance and of course – lots of cheese. Ace will be serving up a whopping 35-kilogram wheel of La Couronne Fort Aged Comté, decorated with the siblings’ faces.
Head in to party from 6.30pm and feast upon it – and a selection of other Will Studd cheeses – until it is all gone. You’ll also be able to grab cheese-inspired cocktails and a copy of the book and have it signed by the authors.
Sam and Ellie will be serving grilled halloumi with lemon leaf, paired with The Lobby serving blue cheese martinis and the Lobby Bar hot dog with classic trimmings — all for one night only.
Tickets to the cheese party are free with an RSVP. Drinks are available on consumption on the night.
